In 1944-1945 - actress of the Aktobe Regional Drama Theater.
In 1950 she graduated from VGIK and was enrolled in the troupe of the Film Actor's Studio Theater.
A student of B. Bibikov and O. Pyzhova, Svetlana Konovalova played small roles on the stage of the Theater-Studio of the film actor, and from the 60s she began to actively act in films: Galya ("The driver drove the trains"), Zhenya's mother ("Leaving ashore" ), maid of honor Orintia ("An Ordinary Miracle"), Rattas ("Zero Three"), Evgenia Nikolaevna ("Wake Mukhin"), Yashurikha ("Mortal Enemy"), Yakusheva ("Operation Trust"), Angelina Egorovna ("Word for guard").
