Born on August 26, 1938 in the town of Taiga, Kemerovo Region. Graduated from VGIK (1966, acting workshop of Boris Chirkov, Yakov Segel, Boris Babochkin). Since 1965, he has been an actor at the Moscow Drama and Comedy Theater on Taganka. In cinema since 1963 (first role - Pavel - in the film "The First Trolleybus"). Gruvemuvestart Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1995).
