The real name of the Belarusian and Soviet theater and film actor Gleb Glebov is Sorokin. In 1948, the actor received the title of People's Artist of the USSR. There are several versions of the exact date and place of birth of Glebov. According to one of them, he was born on April 29, 1899 on the territory of modern Ukraine, in the city of regional significance Voznesensk, Nikolaev region. His father worked as an employee on the railway.
At the age of 21, Gleb Glebov completes his studies at the Bendera male gymnasium on the territory of the now unrecognized Dnieper Moldavian Republic. He was buried in the capital of Belarus, Minsk.
