Born September 19, 1956, Seville, Spain - Spanish journalist, writer, screenwriter.
Graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at the University of Madrid, while working as an editor for news magazines for the Andalusian edition of Nueva Andalusia .
In 1983 he was appointed head of the Correo de Anladucia department, where he worked until February 1986, after which he moved to the position of editor-in-chief at the Seville branch of the ABC newspaper. At the moment he is a journalist for the said publication.
His literary debut, Camera 211, won the Fernando Lara Prize in 2004 and the Silverio Canado Prize (2005). The novel takes place in a prison in which a rebellion breaks out, and the main characters are a prison officer and a prison leader. The terrorist group ETA (Basque ETA, Euskadi Ta Askatasuna) is involved in the rebellion. Together with Jorge Gerricaechevarria, he wrote an adapted screenplay for the film "Camera 211". He is currently working on his second novel and script.
