Yuri Kuznetsov was born on September 3, 1946 in the city of Abakan, Republic of Khakassia. In 1969 he graduated from the acting department of the Far Eastern Pedagogical Institute of Arts (Vladivostok). In 1969-1979 - an actor at the Khabarovsk Drama Theater, in 1979-1986 - at the Omsk Drama Theater, in 1986-1999 - an actor at the Leningrad Comedy Theater. Honored Artist of Russia (2006).
