American actor, screenwriter and producer Josh Gad was born in Hollywood in February 1981. His father works as an investment consultant and his mother works in real estate. Both parents are Jewish by nationality.
In 1999, after graduating from University School in Fort Lauderdale, Josh attended the College of Fine Arts in Pittsburgh. Here he studied drama and in 2003 received a bachelor's degree in his specialty.
