Josh Radnor is an American actor best known for his role as Ted Mosby in the comedy television series How I Met Your Mother .
Josh Radnor (full name Joshua T. Radnor - Joshua T. Radnor) was born on July 29, 1974 in Columbus, Ohio.
His father, Alan Radnor, is a lawyer. Josh grew up in the Columbus suburb of Bexley, where he attended a Jewish day school and went to camp for the summer.
He graduated from Bexley High School and entered Kenyon College, where he was awarded the Paul Newman Prize for the College's most famous graduate in theater. Radnor went on to become a Master of Fine Arts with a degree in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
In 2001, Josh joined the cast of the series "Off Center", and in the lead role, but ultimately his character was played by Eddie Kay Thomas. In 2002, the American actor made his Broadway debut in the theatrical version of The Graduate, replacing Jason Biggs, thanks to which he worked on the same stage with Kathleen Turner and Alicia Silverstone.
From 2005 to the present, Radnor plays Ted Mosby in How I Met Your Mother. This is his most serious acting career to date.
Together with Jennifer Westfield, the actor played in the 2008 premiere of the play “Finks,” written by Joe Guilford and directed by Charles Stratton. As a director, Joshua made his film debut with Happythankyoumoreplease (2010). In this comedy with Malin Ackerman, he not only played the role of Sam, but also wrote the script of the film himself.
