Nikolai Olyalin was born on May 22, 1941 in a small village in the Vologda region. From childhood, Nikolai actively attended a drama circle in the House of Officers, where he happened to be with his brother. At first, the boy was trusted to perform only episodic roles, but, having accumulated experience, they began to allow him to perform with the main roles. Immediately after completing his studies at school, the young guy went to the beautiful city of Leningrad and wanted to become a military man there, but in an instant he changed his mind and went to study at LGITMiK, upon completion of which he was sent to the Krasnoyarsk theater. And after a while, Nikolai became the best comedian in the city. In 1965 he made his debut as a pilot, showing himself well in the film Flight Days. The gifted actor received a large number of proposals for filming, and soon an excellent movie with Nikolay Olyalin, entitled Liberation, appeared on the screens. This cinematic production dedicated to the difficult years of the Great Patriotic War, in which directors from various countries took part, made the actor incredibly famous. Nikolai was so strongly and qualitatively transformed into a role that even the front-line soldiers thanked him for his truly loyal war regalia. For many years, the image of a soldier was entrenched for Nikolai, and he often played the roles of artillerymen, warriors and scouts. In 1970, the actor was asked to move to Kiev, where a film with Nikolai Olyalin, entitled The World Guy, was released. In the day's production, the hero had to show himself in the role of an ordinary engineer, and Nikolai perfectly performed it. Also, many viewers remember this talented film actor thanks to the tape Gentlemen of Fortune.
Olyalin died at the age of sixty-eight in Kiev.
