Emily Deschanel was born in Los Angeles on October 11, 1976. Her father is a famous director who has an Oscar nomination, and her sister, Zooey Deschanel, is a successful actress, model, and also writes and performs songs.
As a child, Emily moved a lot, so she considers Italy, England and France her second home. The actress graduated from a course in acting, which was taught at Boston University, and has a bachelor's degree in arts and theater.
