Writer and playwright.
Studied at the Ukrainian Institute of Journalism, at the Moscow Polygraphic Institute. Author of the novels "People are not angels" (parts 1-2, 1962-1965) about the creation of collective farms in Ukraine, "War" (books 1-3, 1970-1980; USSR State Prize, 1983), "Moscow, forty-first "(Book 1-2, 1985-1989). In the cinema he acted as a screenwriter.
