Zinaida Dyakonova was born in 1903, in the southern Ukrainian city of Odessa. Her father was the leader of the nobility, and it was thanks to his high position that the girl was able to receive an excellent education in France, and upon returning home she began to teach little children the rules of orthoepy - that is, the correct pronunciation. Dyakonov will devote most of her life to pedagogical activity: she even initiated the creation of a studio for training readers at the House of Scientists.
In addition to teaching, the girl worked as a production director at the Odessa Philharmonic, and acted a little in films. So, she flashed in the Almost funny story (1977) of Pyotr Fomenko, together with Dmitry Kharatyan and Marina Neyelova, she appeared in the drama of Anatoly Vasilyev Photos on the Wall (1978), and also starred in the tragic story of Tuning Fork (1979) from Villene Novak.
The actress lived to a ripe old age: she died, beloved, revered and awarded the title of Honored Worker of Culture of the Ukrainian SSR.
