Born April 14, 1974, France - French film director, screenwriter, composer, cameraman, musician and DJ. Known under the pseudonym Mr. Oizo
became known to the general public in 1997 with his “Flat Beat”. This single, which has sold more than three million copies, features Flat Eric, a small yellow puppet who quickly became a symbol in advertising for Levi's denim brand. This flamboyant debut in the world of advertising takes him to the UK and the United States, where he shoots commercials and video clips. In 1999 he released his first album, Analog Worms Attack.
In 2001, Quentin shoots his first painting “Non-film” starring Sebastian Tellier and Vincent Belorger. In September 2005, he released a new album, Mustache (Half a Scissor). In 2006–2007, Quentin Dupieux wrote and directed Steak, a film starring the iconic french comedic blowing Eric and Ramsey.
