Vladimir Alekseevich Konkin (born August 19, 1951, Saratov) - Soviet and Russian theater and film actor, Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1974), Honored Artist of Russia (2010), laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize (1974), best known for films “How the Steel Was Tempered”, “A Romance of Lovers”, “Aty-Baty, Soldiers were Walking ...” and for the role of Vladimir Sharapov from Stanislav Govorukhin's cult series “The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed”. He worked on dubbing foreign films (films and videos), since 1980 he has been writing stories and essays.
