Philip Baker Hall was born in the small town of Toledo, Ohio, to a family of ordinary workers. The guy did not plan to become an actor at all: so, after graduating from the local university, he goes to serve in the army, and upon his return he even teaches at school for several years.

All in all, Philip has participated in more than one hundred and sixty films.
