Born on February 10, 1963. British actor, best known for such TV shows as Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes. Glenister has appeared in Vanity Fair (1998), Stepfather (2005) and other films. In 2005, he appeared in Ridley Scott's film Kingdom of Heaven. Probably the most famous role is that of Gene Hunt in the TV series Life on Mars (2006-2007), opposite John Simm. Glenister also works with Simmim on State of Play and Clocking Off.
