Batishta (real name Kirill Petrov) was born on July 19, 1983 in Cheboksary. At the age of 15, he moved to Moscow, where he became interested in urban music. At school, he met Zhenya, now known as DJ Linar. The guys studied in parallel classes, devoting all their free time to club music. Zhenya, who went to the Tonic DJ school, got a DJ turntable, and in 1998 his friends were able to record the first demo track. This record came to the Cash Brothers, known at that time rappers, who invited Kirill to cooperate. At the same time the stage "chase" appeared - Batishta.
In the early 2000s, Kirill received a higher technical education, and his musical career progressed. In 2000, Batishta met Decl, toured with him as an MC, then began to work with the Legal Business group. In parallel, he composed and recorded his own music.
In 2005 Batishta became a member of the Band'Eros group assembled by producer Alexander Dulov. The collective has achieved significant success in crossing the ironic R'n'B with pop music, and this is the great merit of Batishta, who spent six years in the collective.
In 2011, Kirill unexpectedly left the popular project for solo swimming. He shot a video for the debut track "Turn the Page", recorded joint songs with "Disco Avaria" ("Labyrinth"), Sati Kazanova ("Feeling of Lightness"), singer Romadi ("Formula of Love"). In addition, he became a presenter on the Muz-TV channel and took part in the TV projects Cruel Intentions and Special Assignment.
The first album "5010" was released on July 19 via ThankYou.ru. Batista calls this disc a creative report for the past year. The musician has already started preparing new material.
