Born on December 28, 1975, Moscow - Russian theater and film actress.
In 1996 she graduated from the Higher Theater School named after M. Shchepkin, where she studied in the course of V. I. Korshunov. Her classmates were Marat Basharov and Yegor Barinov. After graduating from drama school, the young actress was invited to the Maly Theater, but she preferred the Moscow theater Satyricon, where she worked for a year. Since 1997 Elvira Bolgova has been working at the Mossovet Theater.
Bolgova made her film debut in 1995, starring in the film Abyss, and her first notable role was in Andrei Razenkov's film Tests for Real Men (1998). Then she starred in the melodrama Three of Tango (1997), the action movie Siberian Spas (1998), and the television series Beauty Salon (2000). In 2003, the actress played one of the leading roles in the series "Desirable". In 2004, the TV series "Gemini" was released, in which Elvira Bolgova performed three main roles at once - twin sisters Lyuba, Vera and Fatima. In 2011 she starred in the TV series "The Island of Unnecessary People".
