Born April 28, 1957, Redbank, New Jersey, USA - American composer, author of music for a large number of films and television films.
He graduated from Hampshire College with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and then pursued a PhD at North Texas State University. In 1980 he moved to Los Angeles. Originally a jazz musician, under the influence of Bernard Herrmann, Young began composing film scores.
