French actor and composer Jean-Michel Bernard was born on November 23, 1961. From the age of two he began to learn to play the piano. After graduating from the conservatory in Bordeaux, Bernard began his career as a jazz musician, performing with such famous jazzmen as Eddie Davis, Bill Davis and others.
His career as a composer began with animated films, and his first popularity came with his work on the radio. In 2000 he toured Europe and Australia with the Ray Charles Quartet. This year also brought the first experience of writing songs for serious films.
