American actress and model Sean Young was born on November 20, 1959. The mother of the future star was a fairly well-known journalist in her circle, and her daughter also tried to write something for some time. After graduating from the Academy of Arts, Young moved to New York, where she decided to pursue a career as a fashion model. Before that, there was an attempt to become a professional ballerina, for which Young graduated from ballet school in New York, but the injury subsequently received put an end to this dream. Without losing her presence of mind, Sean Young decided to make her attractiveness work for herself, and her photos began to appear in fashion magazines. Her appearance piqued the interest of film producer Ismail Merchant. This is how Sean got her first role in the Jane Austen film in Manhattan, which was released in 1980.
