Australian director. Born June 23, 1953 in Melbourne, Australia.
He began his directing career as a director of music videos. He has worked with such artists as Elton John, Duran Duran, Bonnie Tyler and others, and also directed the first video shown on MTV - Video Killed the Radio Star. He made his film debut in 1979 with Derek and Clive Got a Trumpet. In 1984 he filmed Peter Brennan's novel "The Cleaver Boar".
