John Duigan (born June 19, 1949, Hartley-Whitney) is an Australian film director, screenwriter and producer. He is best known for the films "The Year When My Voice Broke" and "Flirt".

John Daigan was born on June 19, 1949 in England and emigrated to Australia, his father's homeland, in 1961. His sister is the novelist Virginia Daigan (wife of director Bruce Beresford).

Nominee of the Moscow IFF 1983. Winner of the main prize of the Milan IFF for the best film (2005).

Married to Vietnamese actress Nammi Le (born December 7, 1978).
