Donald Edmond Wahlberg Jr. (born Donald Edmond Wahlberg, Jr., born August 17, 1969, Boston) is an American singer, actor, composer and producer. Member of the once popular band New Kids on the Block and older brother of actor Mark Wahlberg. Best known for his roles in The Sixth Sense, Saw 2-5 as Eric Matthews and Brothers in Arms
Born in Dorchester, near Boston, Massachusetts. He was the eighth of nine children in a family, brothers and sisters: Arthur, Jim, Paul, Robert, Tracy, Michelle, Debbie and the youngest - Mark. His mother, Alma Elaine (nee Donnelly), was a bank clerk and nurse's assistant, and his father, Donald Edmund Wahlberg, Sr., worked as a truck driver. The paternal grandfather was of Swedish blood, while the rest of the relatives were Irish.
