Marsha Strassman (born Marcia Strassman, April 28, 1948, New York - October 25, 2014, Los Angeles) is an American actress.
Stressman rose to fame for her role in the comedy television series Welcome Back Cotter, which she starred in from 1975 to 1979. She has played over sixty screen roles, but is perhaps best known for her role as Diane Zielinski in the 1989 family classic Darling, I Shrunk the Kids and its sequels Darling, I Enlarged the Baby (1992) and Darling, I Shrunk alien "(1996). Before embarking on a career on screen, Stressman performed on the Broadway stage, and in the late sixties she was a singer and released several singles.
Strassman passed away from breast cancer in October 2014 at the age of 66.
