Andy was involved in many forms of motorsport before entering the film business. He began his film career in 1972 in England as a stuntman. Andy's talent was mainly in car stunts. In 1973, he decided to use his organizational skills and became an assistant director. This proved to be extremely successful and made a successful career in the film business.
Specializing, in particular, in very large international projects where there were difficult and dangerous stunts, including the three biggest James Bond films: The Man with the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker. From 1973 to 1987 Andy worked as an assistant director on over 70 films.
