Russian theater and film actor, director Andrei Panin hails from Novosibirsk, where he was born in May 1962. In connection with the profession of his father, who worked as a research assistant, Panin had to change his place of residence more than once. When Andrei was two years old, the family moved to Chelyabinsk. Here the boy attended kindergarten. And four years later, six-year-old Andrei was taken to Kemerovo, where his relatives once again moved. Here Panin lived until he was sixteen.
In his youth, Andrei was fond of martial arts in order to be able to defend himself if necessary. Acting was of little interest to him. Panin dreamed of flying, but at the institute he studied food technology. As a result, Andrei was expelled, after which, by coincidence, he was brought to the Institute of Culture. In the end, Panin received a degree in theater director.
Andrei received his first work experience at the Minusinsk Theater, and after a while he moved to Moscow. First, he came to the capital for shopping, and at the same time decided to try his luck at the Moscow Art Theater. Then Panin failed to enter because of participation in a fight. But a year later he returned to the capital with the aim of continuing his education and realized it.
In 1991, the artist graduated from the Moscow Art Theater and began the path to success. A year later, the first film with Andrei Panin was released - a crime tape by Sergei Chliyants called In Straight. In 1997, the actor was featured in the film Mama, Don't Cry. The role of the Sailor running away from the police brought Andrey nationwide fame. The actor did not experience a lack of demand.
Panin's professional success was consolidated by the tape Full Moon Day, filmed in 1998 by Karen Shakhnazarov. The next important project in Andrey's career was the television series Brigada, which was released in 2002. At this time, there was a new wave of Panin's popularity. Among other films with the actor: 24 hours, Mom, Driver for Vera, Spartacus and Kalashnikov, Morphine, Sherlock Holmes, Horde and others. Critics called Panin the most charming villain in post-Soviet cinema - he was very good at playing the roles of villains.
