Maxwell Caulfield - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips, actor, producer.

Caulfield - nee Maxwell MacLane - was born in Chesterfield to Peter Nelby MacLane and his wife Oriola. He grew up with his younger brother Markus, who later became a musician. When the boy was fifteen, his stepfather, a Marine instructor, kicked him out of the house.

Caulfield made his Hollywood debut in 1982, in the sequel to the legendary musical Grease II, with Michelle Pfeiffer, no less inexperienced at that time, played with him. The film came out badly enough, and Caulfield's career stalled. A certain fame came to him after his wedding with Juliet Mills, known to the general public for her role in the TV series "Nanny and the Professor" ^; The fact that the bride was eighteen years older than the groom gave the marriage a special interest. Caulfield made his way back into show business in a rather scandalous way - through work in striptease. One way or another, after returning to the stage, he got the title role in the production of "The Elephant Man" ^; in parallel with this, he played in the play "Interesting Mr. Sloane", both in Los Angeles and in New York. This was followed by a role in the play "Thessaloniki" with Jessica Tandy and Elizabeth Taylor ^; and again, shortcomings in the acting Maxwell, as far as possible, plugged his nude.

The second Caulfield movie was released in 1984 ^; it was Electric Dreams, a contemporary retelling of the story of Cyrano de Bergerac. The next was quite successful for Maxwell himself, although in general and orderly underestimated by the criticism "Neighborhood Boys" with Charlie Sheen. After that, Maxwell got a number of roles in art pictures of a rather small kind - he played in "Games on the Field of Mind", "Project Alien", "Wild Instinct" and "Do not run away, do not return." In 1993, Caulfield played Colonel Vincent in the epic Gettysburg, this time getting into the role was almost one hundred percent.

Along with his work in films, Maxwell also starred for television ^; however, from the entire list of his roles in television films and series, it is difficult to choose at least something that is really remembered by the general public.
