Grew up in Warminster. As a teenager, he attended William Tennent High School, where he attended wrestling classes. In the early 2000s, he often traveled to New York for auditions for film roles and auditions for the modeling business. First works - advertising for Levi's, and gets a supporting role with periodic appearances from 2001 to 2004 in the series Grounded For Life.
Michael has a younger brother and sister - Daniel Aaron and Christine.
Vogel is married to former model Courtney. They were married in the church in which his parents were previously married. Their eldest daughter Cassie Rene Vogel was born on February 20, 2007, and the youngest on June 2, 2009.
