Jonathan Cherry was born on February 3, 1977 in Montreal, Canada. Graduated from film school in Vancouver.
The actor gained his first fame thanks to the films "Destination 2" (2003) and "House of the Dead" (2003).
He was nominated for a Leo Award for his role in the TV drama film "Marker".
He played hockey team goalkeeper Marco Belcher in The Bouncer (2011), and he later reprized the role in the sequel, Bouncer 2 (2017).
Cherry also played one of the central roles in the comedy horror film Police Wolf (2014).
