Born February 23, 1959.
In 1979 he graduated from the acting and directing workshop of VGIK im. S.A. Gerasimov, under the leadership of Lev Kulidzhanov and Tatiana Lioznova.
He made his debut in the role of Mitya Lopukhin in the film by Sergei Solovyov "One Hundred Days After Childhood" (1974).
From 1981 to the present, he has been working as a professional actor, and since 1991 as a dubbing director, stacker of Russian synchronous text.
In 2006, Boris Tokarev returned to the cinema screen after a long break.
