Arman Assenov is a Kazakh producer and actor who was born on April 17, 1972 in Weimar, Germany. When he was born, he was named Herman, but a few years later his parents chose the consonant Kazakh name Arman. As a schoolboy, he and his family moved from Germany to Kazakhstan.
