Sabina Akhmedova is known not only in Russia, but also far beyond its borders, since for several years the girl studied acting in Los Angeles, and later even played in one of Al Pacino's plays. She was born in 1981, in Baku, but when the war broke out between Armenians and Azerbaijanis, the Akhmedovs moved to Moscow, where in 1998 Sabina entered the Institute of Contemporary Arts.
Having tested herself with scenes of various metropolitan theaters, the girl goes to the States. There she studies at the Lee Strasberg Institute, and later makes her debut in the TV serial project Club.
Upon returning home, the actress decides to conquer the firmament of domestic cinema: already in 2001, the first film with Sabina Akhmedova was released - the romantic comedy New Year's Gift, in which she played a small episodic role. However, the path to fame and popularity for the debutante was paved by the works of the famous director Igor Zaitsev, who offered Sabina two main roles in her films at once.
The first of them was the war drama Saboteur 2: The End of the War (2007), where she played the role of an eastern girl with an incredibly tragic fate named Lana. The second tape turned out to be lighter, and most importantly, more successful: it was the adventure comedy High Security Vacation. The comic story about two escaped prisoners who, by chance, ended up in a pioneer camp and became counselors, was accepted by the audience with a bang, moviegoers and the contribution of Sabina, who played the role of the cheerful beauty Lena Bichkina in the humorous production, appreciated.
Other best films with Sabina Akhmedova are, of course, the crime series Life and Adventures of Mishka Yaponchik (2001), the romantic comedy of 8 First Dates (2012), the adventure story Fast Moscow - Russia (2014), as well as the comic strip by Marius Weisberg 8 new dates (2015).
