Born April 2, 1959, Leningrad (St. Petersburg), USSR (Russia) - Russian screenwriter, composer and actor.
In 1980, he graduated from the Musorgsky School of Music, majoring in guitar.
Since 1984 he began to write songs for Alla Pugacheva, Valery Leontiev, Mikhail Shufutinsky, the Na-Na group and many others.
In the 1990s, he was actively involved in concert activities, began working in television series as a composer and screenwriter. His work gained particular popularity in the series Streets of Broken Lanterns (he wrote music for 120 episodes and, in co-authorship with Dmitry Rubin, scripts for 20 episodes). In collaboration with Dmitry Rubin, Andrei Ivanov also wrote scripts for 12 episodes of the Gangster Petersburg television series and the musical The Canterville Ghost, released two albums with Mikhail Boyarsky (Meeting on the Road and A Long Way) and two albums with Tatiana Bulanova.
