Born January 4, 1927, Denver, USA - American actress. She studied at the University of California, Santa Barbara, while playing in one of the theaters in Pasadena. In 1951, she made her film debut in the film Goldbergs, and in 1954 she won the Golden Globe Award in the nomination "Most Promising Newcomer Among Women" for her role in the science fiction film It Came from Deep Space. In the following years, she appeared in the films Captain Lightfoot (1955), More than Life (1956), Oh Men, Oh Women! (1957), Young Philadelphians (1959), and by the end of the decade had moved almost entirely to television.
