August 25, 1910 - February 28, 1993 - American actress, singer and dancer, best known for her roles in a number of successful musicals studio "Warner Brothers" in the company with Dick Powell, including "42nd Street" (1933), "The Gold Miners 1933- go "(1933)," Parade in the lights of the ramp "(1933)," Ladies "(1934) and" Colleen "(1936) .
In the 1920s, Keeler performed successfully on Broadway in a series of comedy productions and musicals. From 1928 to 1940, the actress was married to the famous jazz singer Al Jolson. After divorcing him, Keeler retired from show business, but in 1971 she successfully revived her career on Broadway. Her last film work was the role of Goldie in the comedy "Rich Sons" in 1989.
Ruby Keeler died of cancer in February 1993 at the age of 82. Her contributions to cinema have been starred on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
