Born October 28, 1951 is an American screenwriter, producer, and actor.
As a 7-year-old, Joe decided to become a writer, and at 9 he became seriously interested in the principles of storytelling and made a selection of stories, poems and his own interpretations of Scandinavian and Greek myths.
With age, Lansdale decided on the genre, deciding to devote himself to science fiction, but at the same time he absorbed whole stacks of fantasy, horror, stories about strange phenomena, stories about ghosts, UFOs, ghosts, bigfoots.
He ended up writing the first novel with the spirit of Edgar Rice Burroughs hovering over it. The work, by the way, was never published. By the age of 30, Lansdale is poring over the book again, but here too, certain difficulties arise. His stories and stories came out better than major works. In the latter, the composition was lame.
