In 1985, Gennaro became the creator and songwriter of the comedy duo Toti e Tata .
Since 2009, he began his career as a director and screenwriter. Nunziante directed the films I Fall from the Clouds, What a Beautiful Day and The Sun Pours Like a Bucket. In 2016 he became the director of the comedy film "To hell with the horns".
