Joel Edgerton is an Australian actor best known for his roles in the films Warrior, The Thing and the Animal Kingdom.
Edgerton was born in Blacktown, Sydney. His brother, Nash Edgerton, is a stuntman.
In 2008, he wrote and starred in the film Square, directed by his brother Nash.
Edgerton starred in the 2011 film Warrior.
In 2011, Joel landed the role of Tom Buchanan in The Great Gatsby.
