Born July 19, 1981 - American actor. He graduated from Yale School of Drama and made his TV debut in 2011 with a supporting role in ABC's daytime soap All My Children, before landing a similar role on The CW's primetime show 90210: The Next Generation. In 2014, Byers was part of the cast of Ava Duvernay's Selma .
In 2015, Byers began playing Andre Lyon in the Fox primetime soap opera Empire.
