August 27, 1916 - October 19, 1994 - American actress, singer, and comedian who achieved success in Hollywood movies during the 1930s and 1940s, and later on television. In addition to her fame as an actress and public figure, she became famous for her numerous marriages, she was married seven times. Rey suffered from Alzheimer's disease and in 1993 she had both legs amputated due to circulatory problems. She died of pneumonia on October 19, 1994.
