Judith Ivy - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips, actress.
She was born in El Paso, Texas. She graduated from college in 1979 and soon entered the University of Illinois. Judith Ivey is best known for her performances on the Broadway stage. She won two Tony Awards for her roles in Steaming (1983) and Hurlyburly (1985). She received another award nomination in 1992 for her leading role in the production of Park Your Car in Harvard Yard. She also won two Drama Desk awards .
On the big screen, Ivy has appeared in the films Lonely Guy, Harry and Son, The Woman in Red, Compromising Positions, Sister, Sister, Hello Again, Far From Home, The Country. "Washington Square", "The Devil's Advocate" and many others. On television, Ivy is probably best known for her role in the final season of the sitcom Making Woman, replacing Delta Burke, who had previously left the show. In 1997, Ivy received an Emmy nomination for her role in the television movie What a Deaf Man Heard.
