Born June 29, 1968 - American actress.
Although Hoag has appeared in over a hundred different films and TV series, she is best known for her role as April O'Neill in the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) film in the Ninja Turtles film series. The film was a huge box office success, grossing over two hundred million dollars and becoming the fifth most profitable film of the year on a budget of just over ten. However, in the following years, Hoag's career was less successful, she mainly appeared in episodes of television series and played supporting roles in films.
Hoag starred in the Halloweentown movie series with Debbie Reynolds, and also appeared periodically on Big Love from 2006 to 2011. In addition, Hoag has appeared in over seventy different television series throughout her career. In 2012, she landed a role in the television series Nashville, where she plays Tandy Hampton, sister of Connie Britton's character. She left the show at the beginning of the third season.
