Born December 11, 1953 - American actress.
Graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In the mid-seventies, she began her career on the theater stage, and in 1977 she landed the lead role in the short-lived comedy television series In My Square. She continued to appear on television in shows such as The Boat of Love, and in 1981 made her big-screen debut in the comedy Seasons with Carol Burnett, after which she starred in the mini-series Lace .
Armstrong played several leading female roles in eighties comedy films.
