Donna started her career as a fashion model in 1976 and received the title "Miss Virginia USA" .
In 1980, Donna made her film debut, starting to play the role of Sonny Lamet in the television series "Bosom of Friends", in which she starred until 1982; she also performed the songs "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do" and "Stay" for the series. In total, Dixon has played in 23 films and television series.
