December 17, 1928, Fairfield - May 6, 2012, Nashville - American television actor, lesser known as film and voice actor. In 1946 he graduated from Walker High School and entered the Camper Military School in Boonville, Missouri, and then Florence State College (now the University of North Alabama), graduating in 1952 with a Bachelor of Science degree (later the university awarded Lindsay the Honoris causa for her contribution to the development of the university). After that, Lindsey joined the Air Force, serving in Puerto Rico at Ramey Air Force Base for three years. After leaving the army, Lindsay attended Hazel Green High School, and in 1956 he was admitted to the American Theater Wing and worked as a comedian in nightclubs and coffee shops for two years. After that, Lindsay starred in two Broadway productions, Wonderful Town and All Americans, and in 1962 he moved to Los Angeles.
For the first time on television, Lindsay appeared in 1960, playing a small role-cameo of an impostor in the TV game "Tell the Truth", since 1963 he began to appear regularly on television screens in serials, in 1964 he made his debut on the wide screen - the film "Lieutenant Pulver", in the 1970s, Lindsay also tried himself as a voice actor several times. In 1995, the actor's autobiography was published, entitled "Huber in a Shell".
