Born July 12, 1951 - American actress, singer, and writer. She moved to Hollywood in 1970 to pursue a musical career and soon recorded a song for one of Hanna-Barbera's animation projects. Then she became the lead singer of the girl group Josie and the Pussycats and performed under the pseudonym Cherry Moore. She soon began working as an actress and appeared on television series such as Happy Days and Policewoman. Gruvemuvestart Sherrill Ladd's breakthrough career was the role of Chris Munroe in the television series Charlie's Angels, where she replaced Ferrah Fawcett, who left after the first season. In 1978, thanks to the sudden popularity of the series, Ladd released her self-titled debut solo album, the lead single from which, "Think It Over", reached number 34 on the Billboard Hot 100. She subsequently released three more albums. and the peak of her success was the performance of the national anthem at the Super Bowl in 1980. Charlie's Angels ended in 1981 after five seasons, and in the following years Ladd starred in more than thirty made-for-television films, including Grace Kelly, in which she pioneered the role of the recently deceased Princess of Monaco. In the nineties, Sherrill Ladd continued to appear actively on television and in 1994-1995 she played the main role in the series "Western Waikiki". On the big screen, she was filmed less often and was mainly visible in the films Millennium (1989), Poison Ivy (1992) and Eternal Midnight (1998). In the fall of 2001, Cheryl Ladd replaced Bernadette Peters in the Broadway musical Annie Gets Your Gun and received good reviews from critics for her performance. After her departure, country singer Riba McIntyre took the place of the main character. She returned to television in 2003 with the role of Gillian Delin on the television series Las Vegas, which she starred in until 2008. From 1973 to 1980, Cheryl Ladd was married to actor David Ladd, from whom she gave birth to daughter Jordan Ladd in 1975. In 1981, she married music producer Brian Russell.
