Born April 12, 1972, Lethbridge, Canada is a Canadian film director, screenwriter and producer.
Early in his career, Troy Nixie worked as an illustrator for comics and graphic novels. His notable works include Batman, The World's Just End Again, and the critically acclaimed comic Trout.
Nixie made her directorial debut in the intricate but dynamic short film, The Cry of the Lockpick. The film was critically acclaimed at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival.
Nixie's first feature film is Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (2010).
