Born 1966 - French-born documentary filmmaker and street artist. Works with many renowned artists like Banksy, Shepard Fairey and others. In Exit Through the Gift Shop, based on Thierry's filming and edited by Banksy, Thierry himself got the lead role. Thierry is presented in the film as a French citizen who moved to Los Angeles, where he became the owner of a clothing store and a recorder. On his video camera, he began filming the occupation of his brother, better known as the Space Invader. Thus, being influenced by street artists, he became a street artist himself. The film includes genuine documentation of Space Invader, Shepard Fary, Banksy and other notable street artists at work. The artwork attributed to Thierry strongly imitates the styles and artistic concepts of renowned street artists such as Banksy and Shepard Fairey. Like Banksy, Thierry uses well-known artistic and historical images, many of which are copyrighted, while constantly modifying the originals in various ways. Unlike Banksy, who does everything with his own hands, Thierry's work largely consists of looking at various photographs that are subsequently modified and the actions of specially hired assistants and graphic designers to whom he describes his ideas. In the film, he is never shown as the direct creator of most of the artwork. Thierry's first Life is Beautiful show was held in Los Angeles on June 18, 2008. In 2009, Thierry worked on Madonna's album Celebration. On February 14, 2010, his second exhibition took place in New York.
