The only child in the family. Father Byron is Indian, and mother Durga is Hindustan.
In 2005 she studied at Schauspielstudio Frooz, Mumbai. Then she received an invitation to star in the film The Promise.
Her first film work was the role of the wife of the hero Farhan Akhtar in the film "Play Rock !!", for which she was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Debut Actress. She received her second Filmfare nomination for her role as the antagonist lover of Once Upon a Time in Mumbai. She played her first leading role in the comedy "The Deceiver", which received the status of a "super-hit" based on the results of the box office. Her two subsequent films, released in 2013, flopped at the box office.
