Born October 17, 1926 - American actress.
In the late 1940s, having decided to become an actress, she moved to Los Angeles, where she worked as a secretary three days a week, and the rest of the time she took diction lessons, while trying to get into any film studio. In 1949, she made her acting debut simultaneously on television and in films. In the 1950s, Adams moved from minor characters to the main roles, starring in such films as "Shiny Victory" (1951), "Bend in the River" (1951), "Hollywood Story" (1951), "The Man from the Alamo" (1953) , Thing from the Black Lagoon (1954) and Major Benson's Private Wars (1955). At the end of the decade, the actress went to television, where for the next four decades she was a private guest on many television series, including Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Maverick, Perry Mason, 77 Sunset Strip, Murder She Wrote, Capitol , Melrose Place and Lost. Currently Julie Adams retired from filming, but continues to periodically appear at various social events. The actress was married twice, and both of her marriages ended in divorce. From her second husband, Ray Denton, she gave birth to two sons.
